I down loaded and installed latest seatools - 5-6 times. Every time while scanning for drives [there are 6 seagate drives] it gets "FATAL ERROR: Argument 'length' must be greater than zero." Task manager shows Seatools is not running as an application, but stxcon.exe runs on as a process for several minutes.
How do I return the [under warranty] Barracuda 1GB without a Seatools error number?
Try the bootable CD ISO version of SeaTools. If it is unable to detect your drives, then temporarily reconfigure your SATA controller in your BIOS for legacy or IDE compatibility mode. This will make your SATA drive look like a PATA.
