Hello,
I just installed a new 3TB barracuda drive, and after using the disc wizard was able to get win7 to recognize as 2.7TB. However, copying files to the drive has caused system hangs. So, I tried using the seatools for windows to verify the integrity of the drive, but can't seem to get the drive recognized. I have downloaded and run the firmware upgrade (cc4h), but I am not convinced the upgrade was applied. Since I can't see the drive in seatools, I don't know how else to verify that. The screen shots from different runs of seatools is attached; yes, it does launch even with the stxcon.exe error.
I have ensured that I am running seatools as admin. Not sure what my next move should be, and looking for advice. Thank you.

I should have mentioned this is a ST300DM001-9yn166 drive. I am also unable to copy any files onto this drive now. It seems to have occurred after yet another lockup where I had to power off the machine. I'm beginning to think that this drive will need to go back. Would I do that through Seagate Technical Support? Thank you.
