Re: 110 causes Philips TV to crash

Hi all,
Firmware is not going to solve it I'm afraid... Waited a couple of versions but the problem is still there
I had a new idea recently and I wonder if anyone has actually tested it: what if you connect the Philips TV to the network using a wireless USB card? i'm not going to rush out and buy the thing without knowing it solves the problem... Don't know either if it would create a new problem with streaming mkv's over 54mbps... but one at a time ;-)

Re: 110 causes Philips TV to crash

The best thing to do here is to update the TV firmware.

This should fix the issues you've been encountering with the device.

Re: 110 causes Philips TV to crash

Been trying that since march and have installed 4 Philips firmwares ever since. No result.
Feels like it's something on a deeper, more basic level, that's why I wonder if a physical change in the network connection (wifi usb instead of onboard NIC) might solve the problem...

Re: 110 causes Philips TV to crash

The firmware of both TV and NAS is up-to-date.

And what's now the best thing to do here? Waiting for the next update?

Re: 110 causes Philips TV to crash

well... Yesterday I decided I've been waiting long enough and bought myself a replacement NAS. Byebye 110... I found a simple 1 tb €100 NAS that suits my needs (LG N1A1). According to the forums posts I found my Xbox and Philips troubles should be over!
Good luck to you all. I truly hope Seagate will improve on the 110 but be honest I lost faith in that.

Re: 110 causes Philips TV to crash

I am experiencing the same problem.

FW updates are installed on both - TV and NAS.

Philips in it's update history even wrote that some issue with DLNA is fixed.

What is worst, is that i've turner of Media Stream on NAS, but TV crashes from time to time.

When i fully turn off NAS - no crashes happen.

Did somebody find any solution?

As I see, some routers are working, some not. What is your experience on that?
