Re: Announcement: New, limited release, firmware is available for all BA NAS units

I have a BA 110 and when I try to login to use Global Access, it just returns with "service is temporarely unavailable"..

It has been så for the last two months...

Anyone else with the problem?

Please ask the dev team to contribute a kernel to Debian Squeeze with iptables. It would be incredibly nice to utilize the BlackArmor 400 as a gateway on top of being a NAS, with its two ethernet ports and 512MB of RAM it could load the root filesystem to RAM and spin up the disks only when necessary. This is ideal for power-saving, but even using plain vanilla Debian Squeeze would add countless features to your product.

Re: Announcement: New, limited release, firmware is available for all BA NAS units

Hello,

mid-August is over. The new firmware is not available at the product support pages - where can be downloaded please ?

We hope that the service of remote access - Globall Acces will work again !

One of my more astute clients has discovered (not from this thread, I hasten to add!) that Nas 220 firmware 2000.1331 is now available.

Where are the release notes, Seagate?

What does it fix?

The latest firmware for the BlackArmor NAS drives is now available. Choose your device here, then select the Downloads tab:

Nice one. Is there updated release notes to go with or just the ones that went with the limited release? any changes since then? Thanks

I'm working on getting the release notes, if they are available. They'll be posted here as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience.
