The BlackArmor NAS 220 backup interface, after upgrading to Firmware 2000.0551, shows two checkboxes that are mutually exclusive:
- Add Backup Shares to CIFS Share
- Backup Service
In other words, if the Shares are added as CIFS shares, I cannot use the NAS220 as a Backup server !
How do I work around this?
At this point, I'm very frustrated with the poor documentation from Seagate BlackArmor. I'd spent hours trying to figure out how some of the functionality works ... and finding bugs in the product along the way
