OK, the documentation on the UPS side of my new BlackArmor NAS 110 is next to useless (and, unfortunately, when I search here for "UPS" I get LOADS of hits on "backUPS"!)
SO, I plugged a USB cable between the NAS and my (also brand new) UPS
Then I go to UPS Manager in the NAS management web client
And it says "No UPS device found"
So what else do I have to do?

Guess what
In the on-line help for the UPS configuration, it says
Only APC power supplies are supported.
I wish I'd known that BEFORE I purchased my (non APC) UPS ![]()
Ridiculous to indicate support for UPS but then actually only support ONE BRAND
