I've replaced the hard drive on my laptop and trying to restore my documents but running into an error. I'm able to select the file and authenticate but then the get an useless runtime error while processing once all of the 3GB orr memory is used.

Turns out the backup set was corrupt. When attempting to validate the backup set I received an error indicating volume 11 was corrupt. Wouldn’t you think incremental backups should check the validity of the set when adding incremental backups??? I've been operating for two years now with a false sense of security that I could restore data if needed. This would have been job-ending had I needed to restore a file and couldn't. Thanks Seagate.
