BlackArmor NAS Network Storage Server

I have a black armour nas 220 on a network. All permissions are setup for public.

When i type in  \\devicename\backup i can access everything fine

when i type in \\192.168.1.154\ it lists all the shared folders. (including the backup directory)

When i type in  \\192.168.1.154\backup it's saying "location refers to a location that in unavalible.

It's only doing it on two computer that one has the firewall service off and one does not, it also askes for a username and password on some other computers.

What the heck is going on? it's driving me crazy.

Ahhh found ze problem, the old NAS i have used DFS, the old mappings were still in the system and all the servers needed to be restared.

"have you tried turning it off and on again?" desktop = first resort, server = last resort.
