Cant access NAS110-2TB via IP address or Seagate Discovery

Hi there, I have a NAS100-2TB for just over one year and it has been flawless until now. It seems that the network connection is somewhat corrupted. I can no longer access it at its static IP address (192.168.0.210), via windows share, FTP, or HTTP. The seagate discovery app can also not detect it on the network. It is functioning fine otherwise and there is no bad hard drive noises. If I insert a usb key and click the backup button all seems to work ok. I can also access the media shares using DLNA thru my LG plasma television - although the uPNP name has chaged to 'BA-2221EF' from the normal 'NAS110-2TB' label it used to be called before the above problem arose.
Has anyone seen this problem before?

Is there some way to reset the network on the device?

I dont want to remove the hdd as this will void the warranty.

Re: Cant access NAS110-2TB via IP address or Seagate Discovery

Got it sorted - phew!!

Somehow the NAS must have reset its network settings back to dhcp from static and it was sitting way up at a high ip address.

Seagate Discovery could not see it (useful piece of software) and browsing the windows network did not show it.

I eventually found it by running a port scanner which searched my entire subnet.

A quick question - does Seagate support actually check these forums or is it just users having to help eachother?
