I purchased a NAS 110 last week and have set up Global Access for both the 110 and for my user ID. As soon as I do this I am no longer able to log on to Global Access via the web. I get a message saying the service is not available please try again later. Even if I remove this user from the NAS 110, I am still unable to log on and get the same message.
I have set up a second Global Access account using my personal email rather than work and was able to log on. As soon as I added a user to the 110 with this email address I could no longer log on to Global Access and get the same error message "The service is currently unavailable please try again later". I am now unable to log on to Global Access with two email accounts and need to access my data.
What have I done wrong??

I am facing exactly the same problem. Even I have tried creating two accounts using two emails but same result. Any Solution to this will be highly appreciated.

Attention All: Seagate has a new Global Access Website now. its called seagate.tappin.com. It has Android and iOS app to access through smartphones and Tabs. Anyway, It seems the old service " globalaccess.seagate.com " is not workinh anymore or at least didnt work for me when i tried to set up a new Blackarmor. You should upate your NAS firmware in order to use the new service. new firmware is not published publicly ye, so you need to call Seagate tech support and they will send you instruction and link to new firmware download (Thanks to Seagate great tech support).

Hi Sunbird, I have read your post, thank you. It saved me many long hours of torment. I have just come off the phone with Seagat Tech Support and they told me that they would NOT give me the new firmware as it was not ready yet and it MIGHT be ready soon! Have you any further solutions? can you pass me the link?
Thank you.
