I want to add network storage devices to a 2 building campus so that the devices mirror one another overnight for backup and redundancy purposes. The total population of users is 16 stations. Can I use the BlackArmor series for this purpose and is there software that comes with the servers that will allow me to automate the mirroring / backup process?

No, just a bad rsync util. Dont do it. Seagate advertised NAS to NAS backup but delivered nothing. Rsync was already built into the linux dist they used. Check the online documentation too, you will see there is nothing there beyond telling you to put in the IP address of the remote system and few other options. And when you call them up to help you get it working they will charge you $74.99 per incident for support.
So they sell you undocumented features and later charge you to help you get it working.
I will continue to buy cheap seagate hard drives if its the best option at the time but I will not buy anything if I expect to need manufactures software. They dont stand by thier products in my experience.
