Re: NAS 110 1TB - No server found on your network

No, its working with the original router.

I borrowed a Thomson Speedtouch 510 non wireless modem/router and I could see the NAS immediately.

So, in the LAN section I set Network Mode to Static, used an unused IP Address (192.169.1.10, Netmask 255,255,255,0 and the Default Gateway to 192.168.1.2 (my router).

I don't remember the next steps but I assume I shut everything down, swapped the cables over to my own DSE XH9950 Wireless ADSL Router (this must be a router branded for the local retailer [Dick Smith Electronics] here in NZ) and it seems to be working OK.

Re: NAS 110 1TB - No server found on your network

I had the same problem.  New NAS 110 1TB right from the box can not be found by BlackArmor Discovery - message "No Server Found On Your Network".  After reading this post I set my computer IP address to 169.xxx.xxx.xxx and Subnet Mask to 255.0.0.0 then hooked my computer ethernet port directly to NAS 110 ethernet port with no switch or router.  I then "Reset" the NAS 110 using the instructions above.  BlackArmor Discovery then saw the new NAS 110 and I was able to configure and assign a Static IP address and bring the NAS 110 into my network.  I rebooted the NAS 110 and it seems to work fine.

Re: NAS 110 1TB - No server found on your network

I had the same problem a few couple of months back.  The driver was updated and the the server is found by the BA Discovery, when I go to view details to access the BA Manager, this message appears: "The network path was not found" and I cannot access my files.

Is there a way to connect the BA NAS 110 directly to the computer via SUB ports, I understand that "The rear USB port is for standard backup between the BA NAS 110 server and other external storage devices.

Please help, I need to retrieve my files.
