Hello
Everytime I have my NAS 220 joined to a Windows 2008 R2 domain, I lose the ability to access it by IP, and can only access it by hostname. If I join the NAS, the same way to Windows 2000 or Windows 2003, I can access it by IP.
I verified the DNS server; all necessary records are there.
I changed "Allow cryptography algorithms compatible with Windows NT 4.0" from group policies, nothing changed.
Where is the problem exactly?

Hi , it seems no body replies to this problem, I actually have the same Issue ,
since i join the NAS 220 to win 2008 r2 instead of 2003 , when i swap it back it works correct by both IP and domain name.
some people talk about Group Policy options, and other about Security Level and negotiation protocols,
actually assign it to a bug in NAS firmware ??
