All,
I think I have officially joined the club of "This is really all that the documentaion has to offer?"
Rather than pay the $14.95 to Seagate to assist with THEIR hardware and documentation issues, I would rather start this thread and get some feedback from the people that have actually got the NAS to NAS remote backup working in hopes of helping other users down the road.
My Goal:
Backup local NAS on domain to Remote NAS offsite.
My Equipment:
(2) 8 TB Black Armor 400's
I would like to not do the real time replication as it would choke out our 3mb T1, rather, just configure a weekly backup of the NAS to an offsite location. The offsite location will have a Dynamic IP, as it is cable, for which I can use dyndns.org, but cannot get a static ip to enter into the backup configuration tool.
Please help!

Norcalfan,
I'm wanting to do the same thing. Backup a business NAS (440) from a remote site that uses a cable modem connection (static IP, in my case). Did you ever get an answer to your question, or figure out how to do this?
Regards,
Dan
