Hi
i suddenly out of nowhere lost every connection to my NAS220, cant locate it on network, http or even with a direct cable to my computer, (tried with 3 diff. and a lot of cables) ...
- Is there a way to acces the data on the drives somehow?, because tried to connect one of the drives internal to my PC, but it wont show up (file system is not recognized)....
what can i do to get a hold of the data on the drives?

Another question to the above..
would it be possible to go out and buy another Blackarmor 220 NAS and just swap the 2 drives from the obvious faulty 220 NAS and be able to access the data via the new NAS`?

I´m having the exact same problem. Did you manage to fix it?
I´m seriously thinking in taking my hds to a recovery service and NEVER use seagate NAS again, that lack of reliability is unacceptable for me. Going to Qnap or Synology solutions probably.
Thanks!

Hi all,
I got it!
I´ve bought an external HD case, connected one of my NAS HDs on it, connected on my PC, installed a software called Diskinternals Linux reader and I´m able to accesss all my files.
I´M SAFE! And I have to say, Seagate NAS is absolutely crud, no more, no less.
Thanks!
