Hi everyone, hopefully somoene here will be able to help.

i'm trying to setup "nas To Nas" backup on my network, everytime i click on "detect IP address" nothing happens, i tried to enter info manually but the "alias" keeps failing.

A/ anyone knows why the IP addresses are not found?

B/ what are aliases?

C/ how do i make it work.

You might want to upgrade your firmware... that is if you can get your NAS device to do it. Ours don't.

this is a brand new unit, im guessing the firmare would be relatively new!

anyeon from Seagate that can assist? this is rediculous, a built in feature that doesnt make sense or work!
