My office has 6-7 PCs connected over wifi using D-Link wifi router. I connected NAS 220 to this router through one of its LAN ports.
The D-Link admin panel shows that an IP address (192.168.0.5) has been assigned to NAS 220. However I am unable to access NAS through this IP nor does the NAS show up in BlackArmor Discovery.
However, when I connect the NAS directly to my laptop, I can access it through IP (a different IP is assigned in this case) as well as BlackArmor Discovery.
Would really appreciate some help on how to connect to NAS over wifi. Any tips or help?

What happens when you hardwire the router, rather than using its wifi connection - is the NAS accessible at that point?

Yes, when I connect the NAS firectly to my laptop, I can access it just fine.
When I connect the NAS to my wifi router, I can see from the wifi router's admin panel that the router has assigned a dynamic IP to the router. But when I try to visit this IP, I don't get any response

I think what AskTheLeaf ment was not to connect your laptop directly to your NAS, but to connect the NAS via LAN to the router (as you already did) and also connect your laptop (from which you want to access the NAS) to the router via LAN instead of the wifi connection. Now you should try again to acces the NAS from your laptop.
