Hello. I am unable to access any shares that is not "public" from my laptop. When I try to access these using explorer, I am asked to enter username and password, but neither administrator or a user on the NAS is recognised. If I however log on through "Global access", it works... The shares are set up to allow all access to both administrator and the user. Any help appreciated. Much regartds JT

Have you tried using a fully qualified distinguished name?
Try putting the IP address of your device in front of your username ... \\IP Address\Username
Then put in your password. it works for me.

If the NAS was attached to a Domain, you will have to re-attach it.
It happened to me, when we shutdown the AD during the Weekends.
BlackArmor hast to be turned off before AD and then turned on once the AD server is fully up and running, if not, BlackArmor loses the domain connectivity.

I have the same problem. After leaving the Domain with NAS and Computer I can't access shares which aren't public from windows 7. The only way to access the data was via ftp. I backuped all files (hard work 8TB) and rebuild factory-settings. The problem still exists!!!
I think problem is a mixture of using Windows 7 and the NAS drive after leaving the domain.
I tried net use but i always get system error 5.
