Is there a way to sort files by date correctly in the screen titled  "Select files and folders to be restored" in BlackArmor Backup's Restore Wizard?

When I click on the "Date" heading I see a file dated

    12/12/2007
before one dated
    3/1/2012

If the program insists on sorting this data as if it were text, rather than dates, is there any way to have it represent the dates as yyyy-mm-dd?

The superb Seagate tech support at 800-732-4283 says "no, there is no way to make the dates work correctly".  OK, we all make errors.

(To make sense, the example should have had "3/1/2007" where I had "3/1/2012".)
