the device not detected in BlackArmor Discovery

A)

 the device not detected in BlackArmor Discovery, well I disable firewalls as troubleshot procedure... but nothing happen...

 

I install prior 6months Dock Star/PogoPlug [not active now] is any conflict, must uninstall this?

Otherwise follow further the troubleshot procedure?

 

Please note, if at run write \\nameServer I can see the folders:wiki etc... from windows explorer...

Also two LEDs are in blue ...

 

Please reply asap...

I forget dvd in PC and at boot/restart appeared to choose backup or windows, well is for the dvd this(left in) or is normal after install backup software? how disable it?

In response to the first part of your question:

 

Try closing any unnecessary programs that may be running in the background:


1. Click on "Start"

2. Click on "Run"

3. Enter MSCONFIG into the "Run" line, then press "Enter". Click the "Services" tab

4. Check "Hide All Microsoft Services"

5. Go through the list of remaining programs and close out any that aren't necessary for your system to run.

 

Restart when prompted, and then retry the backup.

 

 

Regarding the second part, please remove the CD from the CD-ROM, then try again.
