I want to know that i submiitted my 250GB Barracuda SATA HDD under my warranty because it didn't boot well,disk read error, ..So after few days i got order by mail that i got replacement,collected at my service center in indian in chennai. when i looked the sticker on replacement drive as Certified Repaired hard disk says, not by same serial no, part no also. when i submitted my problemed HDD.
Isn't that seagate give the certified hard disk as replacement by under warranty period when i bought on 2008 december, not giving as fresh HDD[not repaired HDD by someone else HDD from other customer's HDD repaired and giving to me?!]
Because i had big trust in seagate that my HDD would comeback as news fresh HDD, but now i am sad why my replacement HDD is certified repaired HDD now.
But yesterday evening only i got time to installed my OS, but now today morning again the same problem comes as disk read error, so again i registered on seagte to give it to service center to ask for replacement as fresh HDD.
Please tell me, do i get good HDD, not getting as repaired HDD again from seagate. I have no no such bad thing on seagate, becoz i had no such bad understanding on seagte, did i lose trust on seagte if i got again as certified repaired HDD as replacement, this is the problem always in my mind keep on going??
