I have recently gotten the Desktop SSHD ST1000DX001 and am using it as a secondary drive. I am using an Intel SSD as my primary boot drive and using the SSHD mainly to store games while I use a third drive to store word documents, pictures and other such items. The SSHD is detected by the BIOS almost every time I boot into the bios; however, when I boot into Windows, the drive does not show up at all and I cannot find it under disk manager. I have tried many solutions and even got it to show up temporarily using the Seagate Disk Wizard but when I tried to put files into it the drive stopped working and wouldn't show up again. Is there any fix for this or is it something wrong with the SSHD? Would it be necessary to try to return it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
MSI Z77A-G45 Motherboard
i7-3770k @ 3.5 GHz
8 GB of Corsair RAM
NVidia Geforce GTX 550 ti
240GB Intel SSD
1 TB Western Digital Hard drive
and 1 TB Seagate SSHD (That doesn't work properly as of yet).
The SSD and Western Digital hard drive both work perfectly fine and I have had no problem with those. Let me know if you need any more information. Thanks in advance!

It sounds like it's not initilised, a format might sort it, hook it up solo as if you are going to install Windows on it and stop after set up has finished formatting it.
Make sure all your chip controllers are set to AHCi as well.
