I search for a photo of the pcb for a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500 GB
The pcb is 100535704 rev b
It is a hard disk of a client.
After examination I see clearly the problem he has caused.
Please see the photo of my pcb with the problem.
Can you give me a picture of a circuit in good condition.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, I have the same drive and the same problem. I mistakenly wrongfully insert the power cable from usb-ide kit into a new drive... hence, I noticed a burning smell and smoke coming from the pcb, I unscrewed the pcb and its the 5V TVS Diode is burned.
Today I found this post and found that it was a 5V TVS Diode. As you said remove the Diode drive will work without it, now i asking you if i can attach drive to a pc directly and without removing Diode will my pc detect it or i have to remove the burned Diode to make it detect... secondly will it work, after what I have done ? is there any other issues too like firmwire etc... etc... ?
