One Seagate hard disk ST3500320AS has just died, the same one I tried to update the firmware last year but it did not work. I did not tried to update the firmware again as it was working fine. After it has disconnected from my computer I tried to update it firmware by running MS-SD1A.exe hopefully it wound help. however, i think it did not help with the bricked and disconnected hard disk. The boot part is long and the hard disk light is on all the time. So I unplugged it, any suggestion to do with the bricked hard disk. Any chance to bring the hard disk back. Thank you.

I have more questions. From this website
There are two common errors on Seagate 7200.11 HDDs (caused by bugs on firmware):
- 0 LBA error: it happens when your BIOS can recognize your HDD at POST moment, but as an 0MB drive.
- BSY error: it happens when your HDD enter on a halt state, or BuSY state. In this condition, your HDD will not be recognized by BIOS at POST moment.
How to check which one is my hard disk error? where to check and see. I do not understand at POST.
