Hi,
I'm trying to clone all the files from a Seagate 750G hard drive (Model ST3750528AS) to a brand new Seagate 1T hard drive (Model ST31000528AS) using a bootable CD that contains Disk Wizard.
The 750G hard drive has bad sectors which could not be fixed by running Sea Tools for DOS. And, apparently these bad sectors are interfering with Disk Wizard because when I went to bed last night it said there were 33 minutes remaining (in Step 3 of 5); but, now, some 8 hours later, it says there is 1 hour and 15 minutes remaining.
Should I shut the computer off and try to boot from the new hard drive hoping that Disc Wizard copied enough files to boot up, then maybe I can use Windows Explorer to copy other files from the bad disk to the new? Or, should I try running Disk Wizard again? Or, should I erase what got put on the new drive so far, install Windows 7 on it, boot up on it, then try to copy files from the old drive to the new with Windows Explorer.
If anyone has been successful with a similar problem I sure would appreciate some help.
Thanks.

**Bump** **Please Help**
I have a very similar problem. Right now DiskWizard is cloning my old hard drive (Seagate Baracuda) to a new one (WD 1TB HD) and is 99% complete with 3 bad sector errors reported. It has been about 5 hours since anything has changed.....not sure what to do.
