I was hoping someone could advise what the above error refers to in seagate disk wizard.
It appears to be having a problem connecting to an external disk drive.
This problem has not occured before and the drive is operating fine in all other respects with windows xp.
I am using dsik wizard version 11 (build 8,142). is it possible that i just need to download the latest version.
Appreciate any advise.

Hi, for those search for a resolution to this problem, I found that other posts mentioned the error number and refered to 'http://kb.acronis.com/content/1521'.
Whilst this did not address my problem, restarting 'Scheduler2 Service' as a seagate or acronis product in 'services' (msconfig), did fix the issue.
