The Seagate employee is wrong! This is what I read - pasted below direct off Seagate's site. I spent great amounts of time searching for the best product to use. And I am very upset that Seagate states one thing on there site and when the product arrives I can not install because I have windows 2000 pro service pack 4. I purposefully went to Seagate's site before I bought online, to be sure it was compatiblewith ver. 2000. I do not want to go through imaging etc. as he described this is what I wanted to avoid. I read reviews etc. stating how great and user friendly and this is what I get and likely others.
Is the only option to return and buy something different? Any help out there with answers?
Thanks Ptb
