I just bought the 500gb freeagent go for pc and I had planned on using it for my mac so I followed these (http://seagate.custkb.com/seagate/crm/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=207851) instructions to reformat it for my macbook pro. Then my Mother offered to buy it from me so I could get a larger size but she has a PC so now I need to reformat it back to make it PC accessible.
When I plug it into her PC (running windows XP) and try to follow the instructions posted here (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;309000) I cannot right-click on my drive to create new partitions, format, etc. ... Well actually I can right-click but all of the options are grey-ed out and so I can't do anything. I've read through the forum and I cant seem to find anyone else that has the same problem in the Disk Management program.
Pleaseee help soon because I have to go finish this by Tuesday!
