Attempt of Win 7 Format of FreeAgent looses drive id by OS

On two separate drives (FreeAgent 9ZE7A6-500)  I've lost the ability to see the drive.  Disk Management dosen't see it, but did before the attempt to format.

I've ran Seagate Diagnostic software (Seatools for Windows) and it doesn't see the drive either.

Have I lost both drives?   Using Win 7 (64bit)

Re-boot the PC with one or both connected, should find them ok, if not, Computer Management- Disk Management and bring them online and make them basic if you can see them in there, assign a drive letter.
