My FreeAgent Go 240GB HD is showing full?!? I have a Seagate Backup file on it, a Windows Image Backup file on it and a JM-File Folder on it.
This seems redundant, are these backups all of the same thing? Can any of them be deleted and if so how do I stop the duplicate from being backed up?
My C drive is only using 110GB so it would appear that I have it backed up more than once.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

I've seen this problem before...they are redundant....plus the windows image backup, if not setup correctly, can easily go in and fill up your hard drive.
Go in and disable the ones that you don't want/need and remove the backup folders assoicated with them...more than likely windows is the one eating up all of your space lol
Also take a look at what each one backs up...for instance Seagate Manager (the program that makes the Seagate Backup folder) only backs up data files (pics, music, docs, etc) but not your OS or Programs...if you do an image backup...it'll get EVERYTHING.
So learn a bit more about what programs you're using and decide which one will work best for what you're needing backed up....most people, I've noticed, are more concerned about their data files over the programs and OS...but it varies depending on the person.
Good luck!

Thanks, I made a few changes and will see how it works. The system image takes up 92GB and though it might make bringing the system back to life easier probably not really needed. The irreplaceable files are the most critical as you noted.
