Buzzing or fast clicking sound

I started getting a buzzing or clicking sound from my Freeagent drive several months ago.  It only does it during the Time Machine session.  Repair Permissions deems the drive OK.  Seagate Diagnostic does not see any of my 2 external drives so I deleted it.  Trash is not emptied yet.  What application can I use to diagnose my noisy drive?

I think it's about ready to die tbh, if it's clicking and not a cable issue it sounds like it's about to pop it's clogs.

It does sound like a failing drive. If the drive is under warranty, you can process a warranty replacement on this link.
