Converting Freeagent Go from windows to mac

I got a freeagent go for christmas a while back. I used it on my pc, but it's fried. Luckily I backed up my files on the harddrive. I haven't had much use for it, but now my macs harddrive has about 5 gigs left. I have a Powerbook g4, running OS X. When I connect my external, I can take files off of it, but can't put anything on it. Could anyone tell me how to get it to work on my mac? I have 160 GB just waiting to be used.

Thanks.

(Admin: I searhed the forums and could only find threads telling me how to convert from mac to pc.)

I'm going to be honest.  I was going to pass this by because of time constraints, but I had to answer because I love your handle. "showyerteef" - awesome!  :smileywink:

OK, first you need to make sure your data is secure.  I suggest you back it up on two different storage media.

Then reformat it in MacOS Disk Utility and then you can put all the files back.

Give a hoot. Backup your data on a second storage media.
