Just bought 1.5TB after reading box that it works for Vista Home Premium. Unfortunately, it didn't say only for 32-bit!!!
Anyway, I tried compability mode but so far unsuccessful. Which applicaton file did you changed so that the software works?
I changed for the following:
1) Setup (top or root directory)
2) InstallSeagateManager (/Seagate/Install/)
3) a) Seagate_Manager (/Seagate/Install/Bin)
b) demo32 (/Seagate/Install/Bin)
c) start (/Seagate/Install/Bin)
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Guys I think the drive only works on 2000 or xp. I just got done reading what you guys said and I hear you guys about vista 64. I have both versions of the operating systems. I have vista 64 on this computer, and the other computer has windows xp home. I wont try my drive on vista after what you guys are saying. ill keep mine to either a xp or 2000 computer.
am I strange for thinking 2000 or xp better then vista?
Most my friends are still using windows 2000, even after its not supported anymore
I am getting a error message on both mine "Delayed write failure"
Hope I can fix this message without having to lose my data. I was also reading somewhere where people are saying to stay away from seagate drives, and to stick to other ones. Cant remember the other brands or makers
