I have my FreeAgent Extreme 1.5 tb drive connected to my computer using Win7 home.
Every 15 minutes I hear the duh-Duh, two tones downward indicating something has been disconnected. then after 2 seconds I hear Duh-duh, the upward tone, and a window opens asking what I want to do with this "new hardward."
Super annoying, and I assume it has something to do with my drive going to sleep.
how do I get it to stop popping in and out like that
It works fine otherwise
