I currently am in the possession of a 1TB FreeAgent Desk, and the drive does not appear under Windows 7 64-bit (in either Windows Explorer, or Disk Manager). The driver will attempt but fail to install. I have attempted to uninstall the driver, unplug, reset and retry the installation to no conclusion.
Also, the hard drive functions perfectly on my Windows 7 32-bit system, which has me wondering why it will not also function under Windows 7 64-bit. USB ports are verified to be functioning.
