Dear Seagate Community:
I have a 6 months old FreeAgent Desk (for Mac) Model # ST310005FJA105-RK. It's connected to a Mac running OS 10.5
It has been working well until recently when it stopped shutting off when I shut my computer down.
I can manually turn it off by shutting my computer down then pulling the firewire cable out for a sec and then reconnecting it, at which point the drive turns off.
Please advise if there is a fix for this.
