Just bought a FreeAgent Go, 320GB, for my PowerBook G4 (late model).
Instead of showing up on the Desktop, it beeps. I came here to look for answers, and I found one. Awesome, the drive isn't getting enough power because the computer end of the cable needs to be plugged in to 2 USB ports.
Wait a minute. The cable that came with the drive only has two ends. Two as in one end connects to the drive, and the other end connects to the computer.
Basically, I have this because it was included:

Thanks, Seagate. You're good at making hard drives (after all, I was impressed enough with my year-old 250GB FreeAgent Desktop to specifically buy Seagate again, and disregard every other brand on the store shelf), but I guess the reliability of your guys in the packaging and/or testing departments is a different story.
So...yeah. What to do now?
