FreeAgent Launcher

[ Edited ]
I've installed an 80GB FreeAgent Go on a win XP Pro SP2 box and have deleted the Ceedo software has I only use the drive very occasionally as an easy place to keep copies of downloads that have been installed in case I need them later.

Trouble is every time I boot up the Seagate FreeAgent Launcher pops up from the systray and insists on telling me what I already know - the drive is not connected!

Can anyone tell me how to remove the Launcher from the systray?

Many thanks

John

Re: FreeAgent Launcher

Try this

Run command "msconfig"
Go startup manager (or any tab with word startup
Find Freeagent
Disable

reboot...

that should do it

good luck

Re: FreeAgent Launcher

Hi there, I too am having this problem - am annoyed by the constatn reminder that the freeagent is not connected. When I go to msconfig - startup there is nothing that mentions "launcher" or "freeagent". What exactly should I be looking for?

Thanks
