Running Windows XP pro on Dell laptop. New FreeAgent Desktop Drive backs up fine, (did first one yesterday) but when I now return to Drive Manager and click "Drive Info" it opens the next box showing partitions, etc, but I only get half the box with no 'ok'  or 'close' and it freezes up Drive Manager! Then cannot get into support or settings, it just gives window's error tone.

Tried to uninstall + re-install, but shen I hit uninstall it opens wizard and reinstalls, with same problem.

Hmmmmm.

Tech support (chat) here seems worthless so far. Help!

Have same problem with "drive info" button on Maxtor Manager.  Display box is incomplete and locks up.  Have to close Maxtor Manager.

yes, drive info opens up and I only get half the box with no 'ok'  or 'close' and it freezes up Drive Manager and I can't get out. I have the same problem........uggghhh! And at this moment I don't have the time to deal with it. I wanted to plug in and store not troubleshoot an expensive drive. What is the problem here with this drive information, software freezing up in vista?
