FreeAgentDesktop.ico is showing up on my non-freeagent drives, and drive letter confusion...

I just installed my FreeAgentDesktop USB 1tb on a windows xp pro box (sp2)
(one existing internal seagate sata drive setup as my c:smileyhappy:

There seems to be some confusion in the software over what the freeagent drive letter it really is.

As far as windows is concerned, this drive is installed as "d:"
When I bring up "drive manager" it calls it c:, shows the capacity of the d: drive but shows the free space of my real c:

If I remove FreeAgentDesktop.ico from c:, when I restart Drive manager, the ico file re-appears.
This also seems to cause confusion when trying to backup as it does not appear to see my real c: and I do not seem nany directories to backup.

I checked in the windows disk manager and the disk is getting the d: assignment though the seagate software seems tobe getting confused somewhere down the line.

Please help!

Regards,
Tim

Well, not only is the software horrible but hardware quality is not what it use to be for a "Seagate" product.
This drive died... not even a week old.
