Freeagent Go and Vista

Hi all,

I have a Freeagent Go - 80GB.

I've recently upgraded (some people might call this downgrade :smileyhappy: ) to Vista 32 bit.
When starting up my PC it always asks me to allow Freeagent Tools to start.. e.g. the admin prompt... User Account Control (UAC)?

Is there any way to stop this... e.g. give it permanent permission?

Thanks loads :smileywink:

Re: Freeagent Go and Vista

Remove that stupid program... it will slow down your PC and annoy you like a one year old...

Launch MSCONFIG by from the Run menu.

Click on the Tools tab. Scroll down till you find "Disable UAC" . Click on that line.

Press the Launch button.

A CMD window will open. When the command is done, you can close the window.

Close MSCONFIG. You need to reboot the computer for changes to apply.
