Recently, my 2 TB FreeAgent hard drive has stopped backing up and gave me this message:
"Backup suspended due to lack of space."
Logically, I went to a window to delete older backups, but I noticed the actual problem right away. My backups only account for less than 200 GB while these "other files" filled up 1.37 TB of space. I tried going through the Seagate manual, but I have no idea where to navigate to find and delete these files. Browsing the Seagate itself doesn't lend any option of deleting anything.
I would really appreciate your help.

I'd like to help you get this issue resolved.
Which software was used to back up the data? What operating system is installed on your computer? You mentioned that you can't remove files from the external drive, what happens when you try to?

I'm not much of a computer guy, so I don't know which software I am using for the back up... I just assume that the operating system has its own function.
I am using Windows 7.
As for deleting files, two things occur. If I try to drag the file to the trash can, the window freezes. In the drop down menu, there simply is no delete option.
