How do I view files saved to my FreeAgent?

I have the 1.5T FreeAgent external drive.  I conduct weekly backups.  When I open Windows Explorer to view the FreeAgent folder, none of my files appear in the folder.  Where are they?

When I run the weekly backup, it says something like this after each back up:

Copied 802 files, 5431259088 bytes.    Total files protected: 48623

Backup completed Saturday, September 26, 2009 11:39:22 PM

Yet I have never been able to view the files.  Help, please.

What folders are on the external ?

Find a file with a unique name in your My Documents and do a search on your PC.

Search "all drives"  You should find two, one on C: and find the sub folders on the external where the backups are stored.

Re: How do I view files saved to my FreeAgent?

I have the same problem using Free Agent GO Ultra-Portable Drive. It appears to have backed up the Documents, C:/ Drive and Desktop, however when I try to view the files in Desktop or Documents I get a lit flashlight that continually swings back and forth but never show any files. Anyone have an answer?
