When I got my external hard drive I manually copied my files from my laptop to the FreeAgent (keeping the window folder structure). After that time I let the Freeagent software automatically backup my hard drive once a month. This now created 2 sets of different folder structures (FS) on the external hard drive. Over the weekend I went into the FreeAgent and combined the 2 folder structures,keeping the Seagate software created folder structure as the go to one. Now When I look for the files that I moved into the folders they are not there. I cannot find alot of my Documents.
Is there a way to restore the hard drive back to a certain date to get the files back?
There is also a folder structure that starts out labeled as "History". Does anyone know the meaning of this?
