Accepted Solution

My Computer Icon

I've search the forums and found many have had this problem.  I've tried the various ideas and nothing has worked and have found no solution.

The drive works fine, shows up in My Computer, but double clicking the icon does nothing.  Has a fix been found for this problem?

Re: My Computer Icon

Right-click on the drive letter, and choose Properties.  Can you use checkdisk on it?

Try this:

1) right-click on My Computer

2) Manage

3) Disk Management

4) try to change drive letter and paths

5) change the drive letter to a different letter, like G: or something that is not being used right now

Does that help?

Re: My Computer Icon

Thanks.  I ran the check, no errors were found.  But, double clicking the icon works now.
