No information about my external HDD, I've sent for return (within warranty)..!

Hello, This is Ashish, my Seagate FREEAGENT Desk, USB2.0, 1000GB, Model no. ST310005FDM201-RK, serial no. 2GEVFLSX has stopped working suddenly, first it was at-least detecting by computer, but when I was opening the folders inside the hard disk, they were showing empty, then after my few attempts of disconnecting and connecting it again, it completely stopped detecting by computer.. I have tried with both, Mac and PC. Then as if it was in warranty I logged the complaint on the website and according to their instructions I've sent back the HDD to the given address: Order Number#: 1002775986 ACCEL FRONTLINE SERVICES LIMITED No.173, Mount Poonamallee High Road, Porur, CHENNAI 600 116 India. I inquired the courier has delivered the HDD to the same address, but still when I am checking the status online, it's showing that it's not received by Seagate. Please let me know what can be done. Thank you.

You need to contact them directly about that, sorry.

But nowhere in the site or internet the contact number of this: ACCEL FRONTLINE SERVICES LIMITED, No.173, Mount Poonamallee High Road, Porur, CHENNAI-600 116, India, is given...

How do I contact them, will be helpful if you can provide me the phone no. of there so that I can contact them and inquire about my lost drive..!

Hi Ashish,

 

I am facing a similar problem with my hard disk. I have been instructed the follow the same procedure. As of now I have raised a return query with the website and am planning to submit the hard disk at the same address.

 

Please let me know the current status of your hard disk. I would like to proceed further based on your advise.

Hi All

I am having similar issues with return of SATA HDD harddisk to Accel ...

status of courier order says it is delivered but in the seagate website it says 'NO"  for received by seagate. Does any one have contact numbers to call Accel
