I just installed a FreeAgent Pro on a Mac (G4) with Mac OS 10.5 and everything works except..

When the Mac goes to sleep the drive will light back up in about 5 minutes.

The Mac stays asleep and the hard drive seems not to be spinning but you have to wonder what is happening.

I have a FreeAgent with the new iMac G5 and it works with no problems and the FreeAgent lights turns off and stays off.

They are both USB.

I experience the same odd led behaviour on my Mac Mini + OneTouch 4 firewire HDD. When I switch the Mac off, so does the drive but then, after a dozen minutes or so.. Tadaa... stand-by led goes alive again (no HDD activity, though).
