Seagate FreeAgent Desk isn't being recognized

What's up everyone?

I am having an issure with my FreeAgent external. This happened from one day to the next, I went to go access it from Computer, and it wasn't there. The Seagate status icon is there, but it is gray and says there is no drive connected. I have went to Disk Management as well, it doesn't even show up. The hard drive is powered on too, just an fyi.

This is very important because I am a photographer and I have all my photos on there, suppose to be a backup, and now it won't be recognized "/

Things I have tried:

-Restarting the computer

-Pulling the power supply of the external to do a reset

-Tried in two other laptops

-Reinstalling the Seagate Manager

-Checked Disk Management

-No red flags under Device Manager

If I remember anything else I have tried, I will update the thread.

Thanks in advance,

Kyle

It sounds like you've tried most troubleshooting steps. Did you also try replacing the data and power cable? Make sure that the replacement power adapter has the same specifications:
