Seagate Freeagent Desktop Xternal Hard Drive will not back-up on a daily basis.

I am a PC amateur and installed Model ST305004FDD1E1-RK to back-up daily in July 2008 and assumed it was doing so. Checking I find that it only backed-up my data at the time of installation-now I'm worried!

Tried submitting my problem as a "Case" (No.00856001) to Seagate but can't get it escalated above "self service",which appears to mean no action/nothing from Seagate.

 

Can anybody advise me what to do please, as Seagate do not seem interested?

What do you mean you can't get it escalated beyond self-service?  Did you choose to Submit your Case?

Hi Alan-tried to escalate Case/query,but the box on the website only showed Self Service. No matter what I tried to submit my case , I couldn't get it to offer any other options.Can you advise me please?  Many thanks,CJ
