I use my Freeagent Go 640Gb drive to backup all my computers and it seems to be working well for that. I also intended to use it to sync my music library between some of my computers at home and at the office. When I try to do this it re adds anything that may have been deleted. I have snooped around on the internet and found many people are having the same problem, but none of the stuff I read had an answer. I have tried some of the solutions i read, like to have the external drive hooked to the pc I am editing files on. That did not work in my experience. So my question is...
Is there any way to make the drive recognize that a file has been deleted and erase it off the external drive and quit reading it every time I sync to a pc?

sadly I am working through deleting all of the duplicates that Seagate created on my computer via file sync. I cant believe that such a non working file sync software is being offered with seagate product, it simply does not work in any way shape or form.
